Weekend - but is it going to be a relaxed one?
So, here is the weekend again and infact the thought of getting into a weekend fills me with energy and enthusiasm. I always look forward to my weekends. I plan about how can I relax and finish up ending chores and then start my next week more energetically. But offlate I have started wondering do the weekends really hold the same charm now? Do we really get to relax, rejuvenate and fill our energy stocks?

Weekends nowadays infact make me more busier than my usual routine life. I plan to chill out on Saturday night, wake up late Sunday morning, do something creative in cooking or something else for my family, spend the evening shopping and then go to bed on Sunday night with some naughty thoughts in mind which are generally not there during the weekdays due to tight busy schedule.

BUT HOLD ON! why the Saturday night is getting something like a boring ritual of same get togethers maybe with family members or friends. Why are we losing charm out of these so longed get togethers? Sunday morning comes and the mind is heavy with the pending chores to be finished. Same boring cooking, no time and energy to try something new. No time left to be spent with kid and moreover while finishing the necessary pending chores most of the energy fades out. Then comes the Sunday evening which is still a bit charming as we move out! And on coming back home, the mind is again filled up with the schedule for the next day and the coming week so the naughty thoughts just vanish from mind. Come on, you have to wake up early next morning:(

Infact by the time we get into the Sunday evening mood, the thought of another weekend coming to an end starts taking out the charm of the left over weekend. AAHH! why does the weekend passes off so soon! Why are all the pending chores still pending? Why are the new dishes to be tried out this weekend are still new? MAYBE we have become more of machines rather than human beings. Maybe we are forgetting how to enjoy time and rejuvenate. Maybe we are making our lives more busy, busier and busiest ourselves.

AND MAYBE ONE DAY EVEN THE WEEKENDS WILL STOP TO EXIST FOR US and then we won't have anything to complain about or to feel bad about!!
